Full description

# Departure from Granada every afternoon starting at 3:30 pm. We will head towards the city of Nindirí, located just a few minutes from Masaya, where we will witness the breathtaking view of Masaya Volcano — one of the most active and awe-inspiring volcanoes in Central America. Upon arriving at the volcano, we will take a short walk along the Comalito trail, no more than 20 minutes, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. We will time our hike perfectly to catch the sunset, watching the sky transform into a spectacular display of colors as the sun dips below the horizon. We will then continue to the Masaya Volcano Overlook, where the darkness of the night merges with the vivid red glow of the volcano's incandescence — a truly unforgettable experience. Return to the hotel.

What Our Clients Say

I booked a full day with Ecoterra Nicaragua and it turned out to be one of the best experiences of my trip. The Masaya Volcano Tour was surreal, especially seeing the lava at night. Then we explored the Granada City Tour and finished with the peaceful Isletas Tour. Everything was perfectly organized. If you're looking for the best things to do in Nicaragua, this is it.
